Hypnosis Can Free You

Stop Smoking

One of the hardest things to do in the world is to stop smoking. That is, unless you do it with hypnosis.

We've all heard about (and some of us have experienced) the horrors of withdrawal from smoking. Terrible cravings, mood swings, insomnia, stomach upset, feelings of grief and loss, irritability... we hear that it is a real nightmare. And for most people who attempt to quit cold turkey, this is what they will experience.

Sometimes smokers experience a sort of "love/hate" relationship with cigarettes; they may tell themselves they love smoking, but at the same time, they resent feeling chained to those wretched little "cancer sticks" that cost them tons of time, money and energy - and of course, their precious health. They steel themselves, swearing that somehow they will just get through it.  But without their regular cigarettes, they will soon come unhinged, pacing, anxious, short-tempered, biting the heads off small children - and they only settle down and feel calm again with that first deep inhalation of smoke.

And so it goes, time and time again, until finally, in desperation, they try hypnosis. And they see that it is quick, easy, and there are virtually no withdrawal symptoms. A piece of cake!

In my years helping people stop smoking in this way, I have only seen hypnosis fail to help someone stop smoking on one occasion. And on that occasion, I had a rather hostile woman sitting in my office, resentful of the fact that her family had forced her to come and see me. They were worried about her health, and insisted that she stop smoking.

Glaring at me from across the room, she answered my questions in a rather terse fashion.

"Why do you want to stop smoking?"

"I don't!"

"Do you have any motivation at all to stop smoking?"

"NO!"

"Do you worry about your health?"

"NO!"

"Do you feel as though you are wasting your money?"

"NO!"

It didn't matter what I threw at her, she did not care about any of the negative aspects of smoking. Therefore, as I was offering suggestions to help her to stop, she did not accept any of them, and of course they had absolutely no effect on her.

But in every other case, it has taken no more than two sessions to help someone stop smoking. In fact, the majority of people stop after the first session; the remainder notice a dramatic decline in their desire to smoke, and in their enjoyment of it.  Most people stop completely after the second session.

And the best part was that they do it without the usual withdrawal symptoms that we hear about.  They virtually walk away from cigarettes easily and comfortably. And these days, with smoking bans in public places like restaurants, hotels, planes, trains etc., it can be a real problem for a dedicated smoker to enjoy being anywhere that smoking is not allowed.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be free, and to have all that extra money that you're sending up in smoke? Quickly, easily, and very comfortably, with a wonderfully relaxing state of hypnosis, you could break those horrible chains once and for all.

You've handed so much control over to cigarettes - isn't it time you took it back?  Like so many other people who have used hypnosis to stop smoking, you will wonder how on earth you ever wanted to smoke in the first place! Go on! Give it a try!
