Almost everyone suffers from a lack of confidence in some area of his or her life, even though most of us don't want to admit that to anyone!
A lack of confidence can actually do a lot of damage and be quite self-destructive and usually in very subtle ways. We don't dare try for that great job or that delicious potential partner. We don't take care of ourselves, we lack self-esteem. We feel like we will never be really successful, or in fact, we may even think of ourselves as failures.
There are numerous ways, big and small, glaring and subtle, in which a lack of confidence can create trouble for us, but hypnosis can get you feeling strong, competent and capable of taking on the world in just a couple of sessions. Most of us are terrified of the idea of standing up in front of a room full of people (whether a large or a small group) and speaking, even if it's on a topic about which we are well-informed. It's as though we are born with a natural aversion to having many sets of eyes staring at us, everyone silent and hanging on our every word.
You probably think things like, "Will I make a mistake?" "Will I forget what I was going to say?" "Will I sound like an idiot?" "Will they think I'm boring?" "What if they don't seem to be listening?" "What if they ask questions and I don't know the answers??"
